This policy applies to the cookies and similar technologies used by Adgar Tech Ltd ("Adgar Tech", "we"), registered office at Ef'al St 35, Petah Tikva, Israel, on our website at www.greems.io (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small files stored in the memory of your end device (computer, laptop, tablet or phone) by a website while you use it. They allow the site to recognise your device so that pages display correctly and according to your preferences. "Local storage" is a related browser technology that keeps small pieces of data on your device until they are cleared. Where such technologies collect data, it is gathered automatically and may include statistical data, your IP address, other device identifiers, session data, and data about your activity on the Website.

2. Categories of cookies

By reference to their purpose, cookies and similar technologies are generally divided into the following categories:

• Essential — necessary for the Website to function, enabling basic features such as navigation and remembering choices you make; the Website cannot work properly without them.
• Functional — allow the Website to remember information that changes how it looks or behaves, such as a preferred language, region or display setting.
• Statistical / analytical — help the operator understand how visitors interact with the Website (visitor metrics, traffic sources and similar).
• Marketing — used to analyse user behaviour in order to display advertising that is relevant to individual users.

Greems uses essential technology (local storage), functional storage for your accessibility preferences, and — only if you agree — one marketing tool, the Meta Pixel. We set no statistical / analytical cookies. Because the Website can set a marketing cookie, a cookie-consent banner is shown on your first visit. Nothing in the marketing category is loaded, and no marketing cookie is set, unless and until you press "Accept all" or switch that category on. Rejecting the banner — or simply ignoring it — means the tool is never fetched at all. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

3. What we actually use on this Website

• Accessibility preferences (essential / functional, local storage). When you change settings in the on-site accessibility widget (text size, contrast, reduced motion and so on), those choices are saved in your browser's local storage under the key greemsA11yPrefs. This data stays on your device and is not sent to, or read by, our servers.
• Web fonts (third-party request). Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. This does not set a cookie, but your browser's request to Google includes your IP address.
• Embedded map (third-party, loaded only on request). The station-finder page can embed the Open Charge Map application, which loads Google Analytics from its own servers and can therefore set analytics cookies in its own context. We do not load it automatically: the page shows a button and a plain warning, and the embed appears only after you press it. That is a deliberate choice — it is why this Website still sets no non-essential cookies of its own and shows no consent banner. Press the button and you are asking for that connection; refuse it and nothing is sent. The embed may also request your location, which your browser will ask you to permit. Legal basis: your consent, given by pressing the button (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Meta Pixel (marketing, third-party — only after your consent). If you allow the marketing category, we load the Meta Pixel (ID 1535656919842268) from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. It records that you viewed a page on this Website and sets cookies in your browser — principally _fbp, and _fbc if you arrived from a Meta advertisement — so that we can measure how our advertising performs and reach people with similar interests. This discloses your IP address, the address of the page you are viewing and your Meta identifiers to Meta. It is not fetched at all before you consent, and if you later withdraw consent we delete those cookies and reload the page so that it stops running. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Meta’s own handling of the data is described in its Privacy Policy.

4. Purpose

The on-device data we store without asking — your accessibility preferences and the record of your cookie choice — exists solely to make the Website usable, to honour the display settings you have chosen, and to remember the answer you gave us, so that your experience is consistent from page to page and we do not ask the same question twice. The third-party requests above are needed to render the Website's fonts and to deliver a message you actively choose to send us. The Meta Pixel, if and only if you allow it, exists to measure the performance of our advertising.

5. Legal basis and storage period

We store your accessibility preferences on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing an accessible, usable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); this is essential, on-device data that does not require consent. It remains in your browser until you clear it (see Section 6). The Meta Pixel, and the cookies it sets, are processed only on the basis of your prior consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future; Meta states that _fbp and _fbc expire within 90 days, and we do not control how long Meta retains the data it receives. Your consent choice itself is recorded in local storage under the key greemsCookieConsent and stays there until you change or clear it. We do not control how long Google retains web-font request logs — please refer to Google's own policies.

6. Managing cookies and local storage

• You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings (typically under "Privacy", "Clear browsing data" or "Site settings"). Blocking essential storage may affect how parts of the Website work.
• You can use the accessibility widget's "Reset settings" button to clear your saved preferences.
• You can reopen the consent dialog at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, to grant or withdraw marketing consent. Withdrawing deletes the Meta cookies from your browser and reloads the page so the pixel stops running.
• You can browse in a private / incognito window, which discards local storage when you close it.
